Short Bio
Jesús Manuel Sánchez Gómez received the Degree in Computer Engineering (2016), the Master's Degree in Computer Engineering (2018), and a PhD in Aerospace Technology - Electromagnetic, Electronic, Computer and Mechanical Engineering (2023) from the University of Extremadura.
His PhD Thesis, entitled “Multi-Objective Optimization and Parallelism applied to Extractive Multi-Document Automatic Text Summarization”, obtained the qualification of Outstanding Cum laude, as well as the international mention and the extraordinary doctoral prize.
He is certificated by ANECA as Assistant Professor Doctor, Hired Professor Doctor, and Professor of Private University (2023).
His research interests are natural language processing, automatic summaries and multi-objective optimization. He has 14 articles published in international journals indexed in the JCR, as well as several contributions to national and international conferences.
Currently, he is Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, in the area of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. He is also a Researcher at the Centro Español del Subtitulado y la Audiodescripción (CESyA, a center under the Real Patronato sobre Discapacidad of the Ministerio de Derechos Sociales, Consumo y Agenda 2030), whose multidisciplinary project is to promote accessibility in the audiovisual media environment through subtitling and audio description services.
