Short Bio
Marco Antonio Sánchez Escudero holds a degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Guayaquil (2022) and a Master's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Carlos III University of Madrid (2024). He is currently following a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology under a Research Training Program (FPI), focusing his research on generative artificial intelligence with the adaptation of large language models (LLMs) in the context of intellectual disabilities.
During his master's studies, he developed his Master's Thesis (TFM) titled "New Compilation Strategies for Assembly Language in Simulated Environments", where he employed the T5 deep learning model to enhance error detection and optimization in compilation error correction, providing feedback through a REST service.
In parallel, he also worked in the field of natural language processing (NLP), which resulted in a publication in CEUR Workshop Proceedings as part of DIPROMATS 2024 (https://ceur-ws.org/Vol-3756/DIPROMATS2024_paper3.pdf).
His research focuses on the intersection of deep learning and natural language processing (NLP), with an emphasis on cognitive accessibility, text simplification, and the development of intelligent systems that facilitate human-computer interaction in assistive and educational environments.
